Over the past few days, some of our users have reported to us that they are using the XP media in safe mode.
Repair your computer now.
Turn off your computer.Keep pressing the F8 key when the first screen appears.Often select Safe Mode from the Windows advanced options menu and press Enter.Click “Administrator” and enter the password (if required).
Safe Mode in Windows XP can help you diagnose and fix many serious problems, especially when the starting point is usuallyo impossible.

Does Windows XP have Safe Mode?
Select the option for Windows XP Safe Mode. You should now see the advanced Windows options menu in full screen mode. Here are three options for the Windows XP Safe Mode family: Safe Mode – This option is the default and is generally considered the best choice.
Typically, just before the Windows XP splash screen shown above appears, press F8 to open the Advanced Windows Options menu.
Select Safe Mode
You should now see the Windows advanced options menu screen. If not, your organization may have missed the opportunity to press F8 in the small startup window in step 1, and Windows will now start as normal as soon as it can. If so, just restart your computer and repeat step 1.

How do I start Windows XP in Safe Mode without keyboard?
Double-click the System Configuration shortcut to open the System Configuration window. Click on the Boot tab, then look in the Secure Boot box. Click the Minimal radio button under Secure Boot, then click Apply and OK to help you apply the new settings, and right next to the system configuration window.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight whether to press Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.

How do I press Safe Mode?
Use Shift + Reload Hold down the Shift key and click “Restart” in the shutdown menu “Off”Reading” or “Selling a truck”. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Options > Restart. After restarting the PC, a perfect list of options appears. Select 4 also F4 or Fn + F4 (follow the instructions on the screen) to start the PC in safe mode.
Windows needs to know which operating system installation someone is trying to boot. Most end users only have one installation of Windows XP, so the choice is usually the right one.
Use the arrow keys to highlight that particular working system and press Enter.
Wait For Windows Files To Load
The minimum video system required to run Windows XP is now loaded. Each downloaded file is usually displayed on the screen.but not.
You don’t need to do anything else here, but this screen can be a good starting point for troubleshooting if your computer is having very serious problems and Safe Mode doesn’t fully boot. For example, “Safe Mode” hangs on this screen, minimize the last compressed Windows file, and then search Lifewire or the rest of the Internet for troubleshooting tips.
Log In With An Administrator Account
To use safe mode, you must be logged in with an administrator account and/or, if necessary, with an account with officer privileges.
What are the options available for safe mode?
Typically, customers can choose from 3 versions: Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, and Safe Mode with Command Prompt: In Windows Vista, the equivalent of the Windows Advanced Options menu in Windows XP, Advanced Startup Options, in addition, 3 options are available. in safe mode: Windows 8 has the same options as you, but the interface may be different:
On the PC pictured above, my full personal account “Tim” and currently the built-in administrator account “Administrator” have legal admin protection, so both can be used.
Go To Windows XP Safe Mode
When you see that Windows is running in the “Safe Mode” section pictured above, select “To figure out how to enter Safe Mode”.
Make The Necessary Changes In Safe Mode All
Make any changes you can, and then restart your computer often. Assuming no other prompts prevent this, the computer should normally exit Windows XP after every reboot.
As you can see in the screenshot above, it’s very easy to tell if Windows XP is back in safe mode because the words “safe mode” keep appearing in every corner of the screen.
