LabVIEW is engineering software for test, measurement, and control applications with quick access to hardware and data. To ensure compatibility with other industry tools, LabVIEW can interoperate and reuse libraries from other software i.e. open source languages.
I just installed LabView (Linux version) on a small laptop and it works great. I recently installed it on an ARM Cortex-A9 processor (zynq 7z020) and successfully built all converted packages to .deb packages after .rpm applications.
Problem: When I run the executable in the terminal, the TV shows the following error: “Unable to run binary file”
This error is due to an architecture incompatibility as LabView is packaged for AMD64 architecture and I am running it on ARM in the morning.
I’m also considering installing Wine to run the exe, but Wine isn’t subsidized for ARM either.
How do I run runtime in LabVIEW?
Open your LabVIEW project. In the project panel, right-click Build Specs and select New >> Install. After linking the executable in the Source Files category, navigate to the Additional Installers category. In the list of additional installers, be sure to check the LabVIEW Runtime Engine checkbox.
